Choosing a kitten is a significant decision, and for most families, health, transparency, and long-term support matter just as much as appearance or coat colour. At Mindeelyn Siberians, we believe families deserve confidence and peace of mind when welcoming a kitten into their home.

Our kittens are raised with a strong focus on health from the very beginning, and every placement is supported by a clear, written agreement and a two-year health guarantee. This page provides an overview of our standards of care and the protections included in our contract. The full contract is provided to approved families prior to placement.

How We Raise Healthy Kittens

Our kittens are raised in a clean, structured, and nurturing home environment with careful attention to health, temperament, and early socialization. From birth, kittens receive regular health monitoring, age-appropriate veterinary care, and a high-quality diet to support proper growth and development.

They are gently handled daily, weighed and exposed to normal household sights and sounds, including dogs, to help them develop into confident, well-adjusted companions. These early care practices form the foundation of the standards reflected in our contract.

What Sets Our Cattery Apart

We are committed to responsible breeding practices, transparency, and the long-term well-being of every kitten we place. Our breeding decisions are guided by health, temperament, and ethical standards rather than trends. We believe in crystal clear communication, very thorough documentation, and ongoing support for our kitten families. Our agreement is designed to protect the kitten first, while also providing clarity and fairness for everyone involved.

Our Siberian Kitten Health Guarantee

Our health guarantee reflects the responsibility we take seriously as breeders. It is not an afterthought, but a written commitment to the families who place their trust in us.

Our health guarantee includes, at a minimum:

A veterinary examination prior to placement
Age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care
A written two-year health guarantee covering serious congenital and genetic conditions
A defined and ethical resolution process should a covered condition arise
A return policy during the initial adjustment period, as outlined in the contract
Ongoing support before and after a kitten goes home

Our Placement Agreement

All kittens are placed under a written agreement that outlines the responsibilities of both the breeder and the adopting family. This agreement is provided to approved families prior to placement and must be reviewed and signed before a kitten leaves our care.
